Worth and his wife, Betsy, have been residents of St. Petersburg their entire lifes and have two grown sons and three granddaughters.  They grew up as members of St. Peter's Cathedral, where Worth was baptized, served as an acolyte and was in the junior choir.  They have been active members of the Episcopal Church for many years, and members of St. Thomas' since 2004.  Worth is a practicing attorney with Englander & Fischer P.A., and previously has been both an in-house counsel and an investment banker.

Dick Nelson is a very active member of St. Thomas'.  He has served as a lector, usher and on the grounds committee.  Dick was a recent member of the finance and golf committee.  He was the former Rector of Men's Cursillo #5, of the Diocese of Southwest Florida.  Dick and his wife, Carolyn, have been married for 44 years with 2 children and 5 grandchildren.  In his professional life, Dick has had various careers from an Aerospace Engineer, lawyer to Real Estate.  Dick's favorite bible verse is Psalm 118:24, "This is the day the Lord had made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Lloyd Chapin and his wife, Louise, have been members of St. Thomas' since 2002.  He is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Eckerd College.  At St. Thomas' Lloyd has taught a Bible class for adults, served on the search committee for a new rector, and delivered a guest sermon.  He also serves on the Canterbury School Board of Trustees.  He is a graduate of Davidson College and holds a PhD in church history from Union Theological Seminary in New York.  Union awarded him the Unitas Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2007.  Lloyd and Louise have four children.

Nancy Day grew up in the Episcopal Church.  She was an active member of St. Thomas' in the 1980s, returned to her home state of Alabama for ten years, then came back to St. Petersburg and St. Thomas' in 2000.  Nancy has been involved with many ministries, including the Healing Team, the Altar Guild and the most recent Search Committee.  She holds a B.A. from the University of Alabama and a M. Ed. from Auburn University.  She works as a Resource Teacher to Private Schools for the Pinellas County School District.  She lives with her husband, Jack.  They have, between them, four grown children and one grandson.

Heather Disler is a native of St. Petersburg and grew up in the Episcopal faith attending St. Vincent's.  Heather and her husband, Dodd, became members of St. Thomas' in 1995 and she has been involved in numerous ministries including teaching Sunday School, First Communion Class, VBS and the golf committee.  Currently she serves as an oblationist, on the Outreach Committee and as coordinator of Children's Chapel.  Heather earned a bachelor's degree from UF in Health Science Education and a Master's Degree in Library & Information Science from USF and a second Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, also from USF.  She currently works as an Academic Librarian at St. Petersburg College and teaches Internet Research classes.

Wade and his wife, Pam, have been at St. Thomas' since 1992.  Wade has previously served on Vestry, the Search Committee, and served as Chair of Intercessors and Captain of Ushers.  He is also active in our monthly outreach ministry, Sandwich Sunday.  Wade is a graduate of the University of Alabama and has spent his career in the residential mortgage finance field.  He has also served as a member of the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida.

Walt was baptized and confirmed at Saint Paul's Episcopal, Duluth, MN.  He and his wife, Karilyn, became members of St. Thomas' in 1976.  Walt previously served on Vestry and was Junior Warden.  He currently is a lay Eucharistic Minister and serves on the St. Thomas Green Committee.  Walt is a marine biologist and retired from the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in 2005 and started an environmental consulting firm, Lithophyte Research.  Walt is an adjunct professor, College of Marine Science, USF.

Georgia and her husband, Gray, are both cradle Episcopalians and joined St. Thomas' in 1995.  Through the years Georgia has served on many ministries, including the greeters committee, Vacation Bible School, the Bell Choir and Chairman to Community Outreach.  Georgia and Gray have two children, Parker and Emily, both of whom were baptized and received First Communion at St. Thomas'.

Mary Jane has been a member of St. Thomas' since 1988.  She sings alto in the chancel choir, schedules lectors, and serves on the Eucharistic minister, healing, and prayer line teams.  She has been a member of the St. Thomas' vestry and of the Christian Formation, outreach, and rector search committees, and she has represented the parish at several diocesan conventions.  In 2006, she completed the four-year Education for Ministry program at St. Thomas' through the University of the South at Sewanee.  Professionally, Mary Jane is a staff writer for the St. Petersburg Times and editor of the Bay magazine.  She has a bachelor' degree in political science for Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.
